How To Get People To Fall In Love With Your House

Curb Appeal

First impressions do matter ! With a little bit of yard, maybe fresh paint, and cleaning all the dirt off the place, will make your house look that much better, and much more valuable, especially in the eyes of potential buyers. A lot of this, fortunately, costs little to nothing, and just takes a bit of work, which will benefit you tenfold

The Kitchen

It has been proven several times that the kitchens sell, and can even be a serious deal breaker for most home buyers. Similar to the curb appeal, by just decluttering, cleaning, painting, and clearing all the counter tops can maker your kitchen look much more elegant, and stand out from the rest.

Depersonalize

When someone goes looking for a home, they want to be able to imagine themselves living there. If the place looks too specific to the style of a single individual or family. They might not get that sense of “home” and may look elsewhere. Which is why it is important to keep it neutral and minimalistic.

Use Aromas

There is nothing that sets a mood more, than a good scent. Arguably more important than the actual look of the house. By giving people a scent that they are attracted to, will instantly put them in a good mood, and more likely to consider your house.

Amp Up The Lighting

A great way to make a home feel warm and welcoming to buyers is by making sure there is plenty of light in the home. By opening up the windows and making sure all light bulbs are shining bright; this will make it feel like a place of joy and positivity instead of a feeling of sadness with low lit rooms.

Erase All Signs Of Pets

Pets are amazing friends and bring lots of love into our households, however, not everyone loves them they way we do. Another thing to keep in mind, are the people who are allergic to animal hairs and/or odors that can deter them away from a house with them.

Clear Up Clutter

Having your house look as spacious as possible while still having a tasteful amount of decoration can really show the buyer how much they can do with the house, and make it their own. Especially, if you have a smaller house or condo.
